This policy explains what data Ask Pim collects, why it is collected, how it is used, and your rights under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), B.E. 2562 (2019).

1. Data Collected

Ask Pim collects the following data when you use the platform or book a service:

Data you provide directly

Full name
Email address
Phone number (including WhatsApp and Line IDs if provided)
Description of your request or situation
Preferred service type (remote, in-person half day, in-person full day)
Any documents or information you share with your assistant during a task

Data collected automatically

IP address
Approximate geographic location (city, region, country) derived from your IP address
Browser type and device information
Timezone
Pages visited and referral source (UTM parameters)
Cookies and session identifiers

2. Legal Basis for Processing

Under the PDPA, Ask Pim processes your personal data on the following legal bases:

Contractual necessity: Processing your booking request, matching you with an assistant, and delivering the service you requested.
Consent: Where you voluntarily provide information through forms on the site. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected].
Legitimate interest: Improving the platform, preventing fraud, enforcing terms of use, and internal analytics.

3. How Your Data Is Used

Your data is used to:

Process and fulfill your booking request
Match you with the right assistant based on location, language, and task type
Communicate with you about your booking (confirmations, scheduling, follow-ups)
Share relevant details with your assigned assistant so they can prepare for the task
Send you a receipt or summary after the service is completed
Improve the platform through aggregated, anonymized analytics
Comply with Thai law, including tax and business record-keeping obligations

4. Data Sharing

Your personal data is shared only with:

Your assigned assistant: Name, phone number, email, and task details necessary to deliver the service.
Referred professionals: If your task requires a licensed professional (visa agent, lawyer, accountant), relevant details may be shared with the referred partner, but only with your knowledge and only what is necessary for the referral.
Payment processors: Payment information is handled by third-party processors. Biznitos Co., Ltd. does not store credit card numbers.
Hosting and infrastructure providers: Data is stored on servers operated by third-party providers. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

Ask Pim does not sell your data. Ask Pim does not share your data with advertisers. Ask Pim does not provide your data to any third party for marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

Booking and service records: Retained for 5 years from the date of the last booking, as required for Thai tax and business records.
Contact form submissions: Retained for 2 years from submission.
Automatically collected data (IP, browser, analytics): Retained for 1 year, then deleted or anonymized.
Account data: Retained until you request deletion, or 5 years after your last interaction with Ask Pim.

6. Your Rights Under the PDPA

Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of the personal data Ask Pim holds about you.
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
Restriction: Request that Ask Pim restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing done before withdrawal.

7. Cookies

Ask Pim uses cookies for:

Essential cookies: Session management and form functionality. These cannot be disabled.
Analytics cookies: Understanding how visitors use the site. These are anonymized and aggregated.

Ask Pim does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels from ad networks.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside Thailand. When this occurs, Biznitos Co., Ltd. ensures that the destination country provides adequate data protection standards or that appropriate safeguards are in place, as required by the PDPA.

9. Data Security

Biznitos Co., Ltd. uses industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and secure storage. However, no system is 100% secure. You acknowledge that transmitting data over the internet carries inherent risk, and Biznitos Co., Ltd. cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

10. Children

Ask Pim is not directed at anyone under the age of 18. If you are under 18, do not use the platform or submit any personal data. If Biznitos Co., Ltd. becomes aware that data has been collected from a minor without parental consent, that data will be deleted promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

Biznitos Co., Ltd. may update this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of Ask Pim after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

12. Complaints

If you believe your data rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC), Thailand. You may also contact Biznitos Co., Ltd. directly at [email protected] to resolve concerns before filing a formal complaint.
